I'd like to say that I'll keep everyone current with constant drabs of dribble about what's what in my day to day, but that's probably not the way it'll work out. I'm starting this during my birthday, and it's a "new beginnings" birthday, so who knows, maybe I'll surprise myself and keep this Journal current.

Not sure what I'll be using it for yet, so I'm not sure what all I want to add here. I'm sure I'll change this stuff around all the time anyway.

I'm a writer who's finally begun to be published. I've had a few short stories sell recently, and I've always got something out there. Hopefully, this here LJ can be used to pass on information about that sort of thing for any wanderer out there who becomes interested.

I live in the Pacific Northwest. I love it here. Just moved here last year, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, which is not where I'm from, but where I spent six years living. Where I live now is simply blissful, and not just in comparison to where I was.

I've got a hot, rad wife named Terri Plewa. She's the best ever. I have two sons--both are near their birthdays so I'll just say that they're 10 and 3 right now. They're close enough. Caspian and Zane. Kick-ass little critters.

I spend my days taking care of the dudes, the house, the animals that live with us, and writing when I get the chance.

I like music and mountains, beaches, blood, mitochondria, mystery, mind, dark chocolate, peanut butter, peanut butter and chocolate, the smell of rain, the smell of dirt, the smell that rain makes when it drops into dirt, Barq's rootbeer (because it has caffine), coffee-coffee-coffee, horror, science fiction, movies, film, and even TV. I like to build things out of old sidewalks. I like ridiculous humor. I like true friendship, unconditional love, and cedar trees. I like my porch.

Mostly, I love my life.

But I'm a Redhead, and a Sagittarian, so sometimes I'm a stessed-out weirdo. It's all that passion...

I hope this stuff doesn't turn you into a statue.
